Fifty years can melt faster than an icicle on a hot pavement in the middle of July. I had the honor of attending the Gresham High School Alumni Banquet last Saturday night where Linda’s class was one of the honored classes. Yes… the class of 1972.
I have to sit on the sidelines and listen to some of the conversations and the memories pour out. However, they struggled a bit with some of the trivial questions that the committee came up with for this particular class. They had no trouble remembering some of the shenanigans that were pulled off during their high school years.
I remember going to the 40th meeting ten years ago and one big difference was that the Big Horn start in Gresham town center came much earlier this time than before. Oh, the joys of getting old.
